Kaipara compost feasibility study

Earlier this year, we commissioned a feasibility study to ascertain suitability for community composting in Kaipara.

Prepared by Impact consulting and funded by the Ministry for the Environment, the study is comprehensive in it’s detail. It includes recent statistics on how much of our organic waste is going to landfill annually, information in support of diverting organic waste from landfill, and complete costings and capacity estimations for diversion solutions.

It is a rather hefty document!
For this reason, we have decided to pull out and highlight key points from the study in an infographic slideshow to make it more digestible.
You can also download the full study here.
