Grace Le Gros – Te Uri o Hau, Ngāti Whatua

Ngā Roimata (Grace) Le Gros is a Ruawai local, of Te Uri o Hau hapū, Ngāti Whātua iwi. Sustainable Kaipara has worked alongside Grace to start a composting system at Naumai marae, where the hapū have been reviving their mara kai (vege gardens) and learning to create their own compost.

She is a member of the Ruawai Adaptive Pathways Panel – a pilot programme for community pathways planning toward local climate solutions.
