Come along to our repair cafe to seek advice and have minor repairs carried out on your clothing items, electrical goods and wooden furnishings by our repair volunteers!

WHEN: Saturday 27th April 2024 - 9am-12pm.
WHERE: The Mangawhai Shed, Mangawhai Domain.
COST: Bring a koha for our repair volunteers!

Due to limited time slots, please keep in mind that only straightforward repairs can be made on the day. With more complicated repairs, we will be happy to point you in the right direction/connect you with the relevant service.

LET'S KEEP BROKEN STUFF OUT OF LANDFILL!!!

Free Compost workshop: Te Kōpuru

Come and learn how to transform food scraps and green waste into beautiful compost and feed your garden!

We will look at:
🍃 the basics of composting
🪱 worm farming
🪣 bokashi
🧤 how to DIY your own compost
Participants that undertake a simple audit of their home waste will qualify for 75% discount on a compost system of their choosing!

The Te Kōpuru workshop will take place at the TK community gardens - Saturday May 11th 2024, 2pm-4pm.
