Charlie leads Community Engagement & Communications for Sustainable Kaipara, managing social media and keeping the network connected through newsletters and updates. She is a local teacher, freediving instructor, and passionate food grower, with a deep love for the ocean, the land, and connecting people with nature.
Outside of Sustainable Kaipara, Charlie also serves as the Northland Regional Representative for Seaweek, helping communities celebrate and care for our oceans.

Compost queen, overseeing the compost project and our program accross the district to schools, events and community groups.
With a background in tourism, business and community work Steph has a huge passion for growing kai and building soil through composting and she loves to encourage young and old on their journey with compost, food growing and low waste living. Steph grew up in Marseille, France and returned to Aotearoa in her late teens. Steph is a mother of three, a devoted community member of Mangawhai and passionate in all aspects of the environment.

Nature enthusiast, leading the organisation and delivery of Closing the Loop project.
Sarah is an environmental scientist with over 10 years experience working with business and government on building the circular economy, waste reduction, sustainability and climate change adaptation. Sarah is a mother of two who grew up on the sunny whenua of Ngāti Kahungunu ki Heretaunga (a.k.a Havelock North). In Kaipara she loves exploring the underwater world, forests and dunes with her little ones.
